The Eastern Garden International Conference Center
Agenuine alternative to the big city meeting centers, the Eastern Garden International Conference Center is beautifully situated on 260,000-square meter in Shunyi County, 20 kilometers west of Capital Airport and 30 kilometers away form the husle-bustle of downtown Beijing.

A semi-rural area, the county is bounded by the Chaobai and Jiang'an river, with the Beijing Golf Club and Beijing Racetrack in close proximity to the conference center.

Making up its 54,000-square meter floor area are four main buildings, each with its own architectural style-European Gothic, American, Spanish and Japanese-and eight villas finished in design styles representing the southeastern U.S. states, Modernism and European Generic. Each villa is equipped with a utility kitchen, sauna, and laser disc player.

A five-star establishment, the 265-meter, three-floor, rock wall-enclosed main building boasts a total of 300 guestrooms, made up of 284 standard rooms and 16 deluxe suites. The Presidential Suite comes with a luxurious bathroom, personal IDD telephone, CCTV, mini-bar and refrigerator. Modern air-conditioning and fire alarm and suppression systems are in place.

Travelers on business are accommodated by the conference center, witch comprises an 1,100-square meter multi-function hall, two 180-square meter conference halls and five 100-square meter meeting rooms. All are equipped with advanced-technology audio-video and simultaneous-translation systems. There is also a dedicated business center.

Amenities include nine restaurants serving five major Chinese cuisines-Sichuan, Shanghai, Chaozhou, Huaiyang and Cantonese-and European and American Dishes. Relaxation is encouraged by a swimming pool, indoor tennis room, billiards room, fitness center with sauna, luxurious mini-cinema and discotheque. A beauty salon, shopping mall and medical clinic round out the facilities.
