The Beijing Subway Operation Company says staff and volunteers will provide an integrated help service for the disabled during the Paralympics.

Disabled subway travelers will only have to call the subway service center with their route information and someone will meet them at the station and provide door to door service from entering and exiting the subway system.

The subway company has installed obstacle-free ramps in each of the 123 stations and disabled travelers can leave the stations in wheelchair elevators and or stair lifts. Braille information boards are also available at all stations.
